Kayla Stewart, veterinary assistant

1. How long have you been a part of the Caring Hands team?   

A: I have worked at Caring Hands for almost 4 years now.

2. Do you have any pets? Tell us a little about your favorite furry (feathered, or scaled) friends?   

A: I have one dog; she is a lab/dalmatian-mix with black and white fur. She’s super goofy and makes me laugh every day. She greets me every time I come home for work, which immediately brightens my mood.

3. What’s something that always makes you happy?  

A: I love reading and writing. Stories where I can escape the real world for a while. I also love spending time with my family and friends as they are the most important people in my life.

4. What’s something about you that most people don’t know?  

A: I’m double jointed but only in my right index finger.

5. If you had a superpower, what would it be?   

A: I would have the ability to teleport. It would save me tons of money haha.

6. Why do you love working at Caring Hands Animal Hospital? 

A: Our team here at Caring Hands Animal Hospital sets a high standard when it comes to animal care. We truly love our patients and treat them as our own furry friends. I’ve learned so much while working here, from clinical skills to client communication. And so much more!
