Dr. Kira Pointon is an Associate Veterinarian and graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an additional year of clinical training at Louisiana State University after earning her bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Pre-Veterinary Medicine from James Madison University.​

Originally from Alexandria, Dr. Pointon is passionate about preventive medicine, dermatology, and exotic pet care. She enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and helping pets live long, healthy lives through compassionate, personalized veterinary care.​

Outside the hospital, Dr. Pointon enjoys attending sporting events and concerts, competing in weekly trivia nights, and traveling. She lives in Ashburn with her partner and their guinea pig, Costco Potato.
