Winston Churchill Anderson-Lodge – English Bulldog
How did you obtain your pet?
Winston was one of the last puppies in a litter from Blue Sky Bulldogs in southern Virginia.
How old is your pet?
Winston will be four in April.
What is your pet’s favorite pastime?
Although Winston is surprisingly energetic, his favorite pastime is people-watching. He will stop and stare at a passerby with that very serious bulldog face. The best is when someone stops to pet him; that is the highlight of any walk!
What is your pet’s favorite toy?
We buy giant yoga balls for Winston to chase in our condo complex’s green space. The ball is so big and bouncy that he can’t usually pop it, so it’s perfect. Sometimes he gets caught up in the ball’s rotation, and he goes flying over it. He’s also learned to head-butt the ball back to the thrower.
What is your favorite thing about your pet?
Winston has a lot of personality; one minute he is a grumpy old man and the next he is a goofy, playful puppy. His eyebrows are especially expressive, and when he’s really happy to see you, his whole butt wiggles! His personality is what keeps us smiling.
If your pet had a superpower, what would it be?
Winston’s snores are so loud; you can hear them through the walls and the floor! Don’t worry, though, his airway is clear; he’s just a hero of sleeping deeply.
Why does your pet love Caring Hands Animal Hospital?
Winston loves going to Caring Hands because he gets to see all of his friends: the veterinarians, assistants and technicians, and front desk staff. He loves everyone and always feels better after his appointments. The treats for being a good boy don’t hurt either!
