Each week in June, we will spotlight a cat that is available for adoption through Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA). Visit their website for more information – www.foha.org

Tell us about yourself!

I’m Eddie, a 9-month old neutered male “teenaged” tabby.  I came to FOHA from a shelter where I spent all my time in a cage.  When I first came to my foster home, I didn’t even know how to run and play.  I also didn’t know how to be touched by people.  Thanks to my foster family, all that is in the past – I love to run and play and, after some encouragement (and perhaps some chicken), I’m a very affectionate boy.

What’s your favorite place in the entire world?

With my dog BFFs pretty much anywhere in the house where I can observe everything that’s going on – I guess you could say I’m nosey. I love to play chase with them!

What’s on your bucket list?

Definitely finding a forever home with other four-legged furry creatures.

Describe a purr-fect Saturday.

My purr-fect Saturday would start with some playtime with my canine buddies.  Then maybe time playing with feline buddies.  After all that playing, I need a nap in the sun.  Then I need a snack (chicken!!!). Then some snuggles from my favorite humans.  Then let’s start all over with more playtime!!

What’s your favorite movie and why?

“The Adventures of Milo & Otis” – because it’s about a dog and cat who are buddies….and the cat is an orange tabby, just like me!

Do you have any nick names?

My nicknames are “Muffin Man” and “Eddie Bug”….don’t ask me, ask the foster family. 🙂

Name one pet (human?) peeve.

People who lack patience.  I need time to get to know you before I’m going to snuggle up to you.  But I’m worth the wait!

If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Chicken!
