DVM Co-Owner

Dr. Seo Hee An joined Caring Hands following 14 years of veterinary practice in London. She was a practicing member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the United Kingdom and recently relocated to Virginia with her family.

Dr. An graduated at the top of her class from Seoul National University, College of Veterinary Medicine. She did her clinical training at Cornell University and completed a one-year internship at Long Island Veterinary Specialists in New York. She was awarded a post-graduate certificate in small animal cardiology in the United Kingdom.

Dr. An is highly experienced in abdominal ultrasound imaging and performing heart scans (echocardiograms). She is experienced in caring for senior pets with complex health problems and aims to ensure quality of life for the pets and their family.

Dr. An also speaks Korean. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, outdoor activities, and classical music.
