Dr. Nicole Johnson graduated from Midwestern University with a strong interest in soft tissue surgery, dentistry, preventive medicine, and dermatology. She grew up in Southern California and has lived in Phoenix, Arizona, for the last nine years – the cold is new to her!

Dr. Johnson’s passion for veterinary medicine began at a young age, sparked by her experience riding horses and competing in Dressage. Her deep connection to animals and understanding of their care led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Her favorite thing about being in this industry has been creating lifelong relationships with her patients and their families.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their 5-year-old son, reading, and following the Formula 1 season. The family also has several pets: four dogs – Trixi, Max, Flynn, and Pongo – and a cat, Nala. She also continues to pursue her passion for horseback riding, enjoying time spent with her horse, Opie.
