From a young age, Dr. Sharpe knew he wanted to care for animals. What continues to inspire him about veterinary medicine is the opportunity to combine problem solving with compassionate care. He enjoys working through the diagnostic process, developing thoughtful treatment plans, and helping pets feel comfortable during their visits. His priority is creating a positive experience for both patients and their families while supporting pets through every stage of life.

At home, Dr. Sharpe shares life with his wife, Lauren, who is also a veterinarian, and their lively crew of pets. Their household includes five cats named Sir Bennigan, Gingin, June Bug, Baby, and Noodle, along with two rats, Eggbert and Herb, and a tarantula. When he is not at the hospital, Dr. Sharpe enjoys gardening, renovating their fixer upper home, and getting lost in a good book.
