Dr. Hilson, associate veterinarian, grew up in Los Angeles, CA before moving to Blacksburg, VA for undergraduate. He completed a degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences/Pre-Vet. He then attended Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2017. After graduation, he worked in Alexandria, VA for two years as an emergency veterinarian before joining Caring Hands in 2019. His special interests include diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, and neurology.

Dr. Hilson has an Australian shepherd named Jackson that he rescued in 2013. He enjoys playing board/video games, movies, and fishing in his spare time.
