Dr. Emma Kindig is an associate veterinarian at Caring Hands Animal Hospital of Clarendon. She earned her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Colorado State University after receiving her bachelor’s in biology from Tufts University.
Dr. Kindig began exploring veterinary medicine when she lived with several pre-vet students during her junior year abroad in Tanzania. Since then, she’s become passionate about primary care and building long-lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Her professional interests include internal medicine, client communication, urgent care, and dermatology.
Dr. Kindig grew up in Bethesda, Maryland, and she’s excited to return to the region. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games with her friends, spending time out in nature, and attending Spirit games in the summer or Capitals games in the winter.
