Maya Fournier – Tortie
How did you obtain your pet?
I adopted her.
How old is your pet?
Just over 14 years old.
What is your pet’s favorite pastime?
Playing fetch with her favorite tan mouse named “mousey”. And, yes, she would run after it when I threw it to her, carry it back in her mouth, and drop it in front of me to throw again!
What is your pet’s favorite toy?
These days it’s a simple string on a stick.
What is your favorite thing about your pet?
She loves to be held and cuddled.
If your pet had a super power, what would it be?
It would be that whenever anyone were to pet or hold her, they would immediately be blessed with a sense of peace and happiness, and all of their stress, sadness, fears, or anything negative would completely disappear forever.
Why does your pet love Caring Hands Animal Hospital?
Maya loves Caring Hands because ALL of the staff shower her with attention and are truly concerned about her health and well-being. About 1 ½ years ago, Maya was diagnosed with chronic renal failure, and was very close to dying. With the requisite medical treatment by Dr. Henderson and Dr. Zurkus, Maya slowly began to improve, and today she is a healthier and happier cat. Although I know she remains a “renal” cat and will always require special care, I am grateful to the staff at Caring Hands for providing an effective treatment regimen for her.
